Arrival

Car Riders:

• Student drop-off is located in the back of the building.
• Students are not to be dropped off on Taylor Street.
• Students may not be dropped off until 8:20 AM.
• Enter the Founders back parking lot off of Culver Street.
• Please pull your car forward as the traffic moves, following the Founders staff directions.
• Cars cannot park in the drop-off lane and parents must remain in their cars.
• For safety reasons, students are to exit cars from the passenger side.
• Students will enter the building through Door 15.
• Students dropped off after 8:45 AM will need to be brought to Door 1 at the front of the building and signed-in by an adult.
• If a parent needs to go to the office before 8:45 AM, please park in back parking lot and enter through Door 12, where a staff member will direct you to the office.

Walkers/Bike Riders:

• Students are not to arrive until 8:20 AM
• All walkers and bikers will enter the building through Door 20 located at the front of the building

Bus Riders:

• School buses will drop off in the front of the building at Door 20
• The front parking/drive will be closed to car traffic from 8:15- 8:45 AM
  
  

Dismissal

It is imperative that we have up to date transportation information for your child. Please notify the school before 2:00 PM if your child’s after school plan changes at 815-754-3800.

Car Riders:

• All car riders will be picked up at the back of the building in the car pick up line.
• Students are not to be picked-up on Taylor Street.
• Cars cannot park in the drop-off lane and parents must remain in their cars.
• Place your Car Sign (these will be provided during Back to School night and on the first day of school during arrival) on the front passenger side in the window, with your child(rens) name and grade written on the sign. If you have more than one child please write all names/grades on one sign.
• Please have a sign in each vehicle that could be picking up children.
• Children will be brought out to the cars as the traffic moves forward.
• Please pull your car forward as traffic moves, following the Founders staff directions.
• After your child is loaded you may exit the pick up line.

Walkers/Bike Riders:

• All walkers will exit at door #16 or #17 on the North side of the building.
• Students will exit the building after attendance is taken.
• Walkers/bikers are to walk to the crosswalk and cross with the crossing guard.

Bus Riders:

• School buses will pick-up in the front of the building.
• The front parking/drive will be closed to car traffic from 3:15-3:45 PM.
